The Private Farm Visit is exactly what it sounds like — exclusive, unhurried access to Bellewether Farm and its resident Kerry Hill flock, guided by your host from arrival to farewell.
You will be met at the gate and walked through the property at a pace that allows you to actually absorb it. The pastures, the cutting garden, the antique-dressed corners of the farm — the details that photographs suggest but proximity confirms. Then comes the part that guests remember longest: time with the sheep.
Kerry Hills are a rare Welsh breed, and ours are accustomed to visitors. They are calm, curious, and entirely willing to be hand-fed, approached, and photographed at close range. Children find them enchanting. Adults, perhaps more so. There is something about standing in an open field, a Kerry Hill eating from your palm, the Blue Ridge on the horizon, that tends to reset whatever you arrived carrying.
This is not a zoo visit or a petting farm. It is a private experience on a working property, guided with care, and limited to ten guests so that it remains genuinely intimate. Bring your camera. Wear boots you don't mind getting pastoral.
